My solution is to get my monthly dose of desktop wallpapers (with the exception that I had 2 this month coz of Halloween hehe). I spend hours (or days mind you) for finding the right one. Then again, I remember using two wallpapers by Monica Calvo but her website’s downloads page won’t work anymore and google won’t help at all I’m really dying to get those wallpapers again, ang cute cute pa naman!

While I’m trying to find these, I can’t help but remember the graphic artists’ wallies back at my previous company. Envy to the max, ateh! Kung hindi ako uninspired gumawa ng sariling wallpaper, hindi ko naman natatapos tsk tsk! Maipost nga minsan para kahit papano nagamit ko rin hehe

So while I was doing some research stuff, I was lucky to find Desktopia and I found the wallpapers I wanted yay! Plus there are loads of nice stuff there that I won’t need to hunt for new ones. The application is quite hard to use tho soI’m using a different wallie…an interesting one at that.

But what the heck, I had a really good deal. The items (plus warranty) is priced as with cameras bought from Hidalgo, minus the hassle of commuting and minus the transpo expenses. So you can just imagine my delight when I browsed the seller’s multiply page.

So now I’m a proud owner of Sony DSC W150. I am staying loyal with Sony’s W series coz my first digicam really did perform well on me. Tho I’m going to miss the “manual” mode from my old Sony DSC W1, the image stabilizing technology of the new cam really got me into it.

What you might want to remember tho, if you are using cameras with this technology, is that it becomes more sensitive to light. The outcome of which is that noise (or you will notice tiny dots) on darker areas of the photo or there will be some smudginess on the subject’s edges. You’d be lucky if these drawbacks are less evident on your photos

Here we go again… Mercury goes retrograde once again. It happens 3 times a year and it lasts for about 3 weeks. This time is from May 27 to June 19, 2008. Then from September 24 to October 15, 2008 and then from January 11, 2009 to February 1, 2009.
